”(Name), what did you do?”
---
You froze, but then relaxed when you realized he couldn’t possibly mean the thing you’d done with the vase. You shut the door, then turned to face him, putting on your best ‘everything’s fine’ mask.
“What do you mean?” Arthur gave you a stern look. A book flew off of its shelf and landed neatly in front of you. But you hadn’t done it.
“You… you know? You can do it too?” You looked up at Arthur.
“Yes, love. But what did you do?”
“I-I made that vase fly into the wall.”
“Did anyone see you?” Arthur was staring at you again.
“My ex… he just ran…” You felt a twinge of fear.
“We can cover that up if need be. When did this start happening?”
“Today. The vase was the first time.” You moved back to the couch. “What’s happening, Arthur?”
“I am able to use magic. Mostly spells and chanting, but I’ve been practicing non-verbal things as well. You seem to be able to use your… powers by simply thinking.” You noticed that you’d started shaking, your bones rattling around in your skin. The coffee table started rattling as well, the book that had been previously resting on it sliding to the floor.
“(Name), can you stop moving the table?” You looked at the table and tried to make it stop, but it didn’t. You realized you were still shaking, and you took a few calming breaths to make yourself stop. The table stopped moving.
“You need to learn to control it. It seems to be strongly tied to your emotions, but we can change that.” Arthur looked at you. You looked so small, so scared by your new ability. Your (h/l), (h/c) hair fell over one side of your face, and your soft pink lips were parted slightly.
“I almost hurt him, you know. What if I actually hurt someone?” You turned your head to look at him, (e/c) eyes meeting green ones.
“You won’t hurt anyone. I will teach you how to control it, and you won’t even have to use it if you don’t want to.” Arthur pulled you towards him and hugged you. You let your head fall against his chest, focusing on his heartbeat. You and Arthur had been friends for a very long time, almost as long as you could remember, so it wasn’t strange for him to hug you, but something was different. You just couldn’t put your finger on it.
“Can you stay tonight?” You asked Arthur. He knew why. He knew that you didn’t want to lose control of it. He knew you were scared of being alone.
“Of course, love.”
---
“Concentrate on the pillow.”
You shot a ‘No, duh’ look at Arthur and sighed at the pillow that you had been trying to move for the past half hour. You and Arthur had decided that a pillow was the least dangerous object in your apartment to practice with.
A thought struck you. Maybe you had to stop thinking so hard. You had tried everything from picturing the pillow moving to screaming at it to move with your thoughts. Nothing had worked. But when you had lit the fireplace, all you’d thought was Fire. And when you moved the vase, you weren’t really thinking at all.
You looked at the pillow again, but this time you tried not to overthink. It gently rose up into the air, and you felt a soft calmness flow over you. It did what you wanted even before you had fully formed the thought. You made the pillow fly towards Arthur, who caught it with a smile.
“Good job, love. You did it.” You smiled a small smile, the pride in his face warming you up. His green eyes glinted in the sunlight that streamed in through the window as he looked at you.
“Let’s try again.” You nodded and looked back at the pillow, allowing the same sense of calm to wash over you. You made the pillow fly out of his hands and land gently on the sofa.
You knew in that moment that you could do anything you wanted. You could learn how to do things besides moving things with your mind. It was deep in your bones, this knowing. And it scared you.

“Back off Frog!” Arthur shouted as Francis tried to slide a hand up my thigh. I slapped his hand and scooted closer to Arthur. “Here love, switch with me,” the Brit said, starting to stand. I grabbed his arm and motioned for him to sit down.
“It’s alright Arthur. I need some air anyways,” I replied. I’d begged to come with Arthur to a World Meeting and now I was almost regretting it. Arthur and I had walked in and the place was already in chaos. I knew almost all the people who were in the meeting and shouldn’t have been surprised.

REVENGE~EnglandxReader part 2
They needed to be told a lesson. Not just a simple schooling lesson about 'No More Bullying' or 'Drugs are Bad'. It had to be a lesson..that they would never forget.
However you still had no idea who 'they' were yet. All you knew was Arthur was with someone else..and didn't even remember you.
The daisy chain was now wilting, just like you were. Tears were still flowing down your cheeks, even though you'd forgotten about him a while ago. You began to run other things through your head. Like the day your house was burnt down. The day your Auntie was nearly evicted. The day your puppy died. It all began to make you feel worse.

What happened next was all just a blur in your eyes. As the car rounded the corner everything went into slow motion. You sprang from your spot, practically leaping off the roof and in a matter of seconds crashed into Arthur who was mid-stride and just noticing the car. You tumbled into his figure grabbing him by the waist and rolling several feet to the sidewalk. You felt the wind as the car flew past you, unaware of the current happenings as it drove away.
After a few moments you opened your eyes. Arthur was on top of you, because you positioned yourself to take his fall. Your arms were still wrapped around his waist and he stared at
